Marybeth Roberts is the owner of Illuminations Educational Services. She has 18 years of experience in the field of education including years spent as a classroom teacher, a dyslexia specialist who evaluated and served students with dyslexia, and as a diagnostician assessing students for learning disabilities.  Marybeth earned a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading from Texas A&M University. She completed her Diagnostician Certification Program through The University of Texas at Tyler. 

 

Marybeth is a registered member of the Texas Professional Educational Diagnosticians organization, a Nationally Certified Educational Diagnostician, and holds the following certifications with the Texas Education Agency:

Students need to know that a learning difference does not define who they are nor should it discourage them from pursuing their own goals for their lives. I am a firm believer that God has a plan and purpose for every person, and in spite of any hardships students may face, they can find hope, purpose, and fulfillment in their lives. "
